30+ years of infrastructure, energy & digital assets

A Note on Transparency

In an era of “anonymous experts” and AI-generated noise, I believe it is important to show the foundation upon which this site is built.

I am sharing my 30-year journey — from junior technician to private investor — not to seek a spotlight, but to provide “Proof of Work” for the tools and insights found here. In the Bitcoin world, we say “Don’t trust, verify.” This background allows you to verify that the person behind these tools has actually seen the machines, felt the heat of the server rooms, and sat through the cycles.

The Infrastructure Years

I have spent over three decades building the infrastructure that most people take for granted. My career began in the early 90s at one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, where I spent 13 years moving from the technical reality of modem pools to the architecture of ultramodern high-density data centers.

I have operated on both sides of the glass: hands-on technical engineering in the early years, followed by global business development and strategy. Along the way, I founded and exited a web development and SEO agency, co-founded a software company building IPv6 routing table compression for telecom core routers, and served as CTO for a firm developing technology-agnostic positioning software for the global mining and tunneling industries.

Later, I served as Managing Director for a major Science Park — home to over 100 tech companies — and as a data center executive in the site-selection space for hyperscale investments. In this capacity, I served as a national resource supporting the European expansion of global hyperscalers, including the early infrastructure days of Meta (Facebook).

The Bitcoin Years

I first fell down the Bitcoin “Rabbit Hole” in 2012. By 2013, I was working alongside pioneers like KnCMiner, and later with industry titans such as Hive and Genesis Mining.

Between 2014 and 2019, I transitioned from an observer to a heavy investor — both personally and through my company. Since 2020, I have operated exclusively as a private investor and capital manager. Today, I live as a traveler and nomad across Europe and Asia, managing my own capital and still going deeper down the rabbit hole.

Why Hodlertribe?

Everything here — the software, the tools, and every word — is built by me.

There are currently 400 million people searching for knowledge in this space; that number will likely double in the next decade. It is a space full of hype, trading signals, and anonymous influencers selling courses on things they’ve never built.

I founded Hodlertribe because I needed better tools. The ones I found were either too shallow, too noisy, or trying to sell me something. I decided to build my own — tools designed to describe complex systems in simple terms — and share them with those who value signal over noise.

Why Anonymous?

I value my privacy and live a quiet life as a nomad. I am not here to debate on social media; I am here to build and share. I prefer the work to speak for itself.

Everything on this site reflects three decades of real-world experience, not recycled opinions. I’ve been wrong many times in my career; when that happens, I course-correct, learn, and keep moving forward. If I get it wrong, I fix it. If I get it right, I build the next thing.

If you want to reach me, you can always send a note. And if this work has value to you, share it with others.
