About Hodlertribe
Bitcoin. Data. Over Time.
The Name
The name says it all. Hodler — from HODL, a famous misspelling of "hold" from a 2013 Bitcoin forum post that became a rallying cry meaning Hold On for Dear Life. Because this is about patience, conviction, and time. Tribe — because we share something. Not a product, not a service, but a way of looking at the world. Friends, like-minded thinkers, people who ask questions and dig into the data.
The Story
This site started as a Bitcoin Time Machine — a way to look at Bitcoin's price over time and explore what the numbers actually show. It's grown since then, but the core idea hasn't changed: Bitcoin over time tells a story, and I do my best to summarize my thinking through data, charts, and context.
I'm not here to debate. I'm not here to tell you what to do. I'm just presenting the information as clearly as I can, so you can make your own decisions. I'm not saying I'm right — I'm just saying.
What's Here
30+ free tools covering Bitcoin price history, supply mechanics, mining data, portfolio tracking, ETF comparisons, economic context, and more — built from 12+ public data sources spanning 2009 to today. Every page is designed to explain, not just display. No account needed, nothing tracked.
Keeping It Honest
I'm also not perfect. Miscalculations occur, typos happen, and sometimes I get things completely wrong. That's part of building something as one person. Feedback is always welcome — but I won't argue about it. I'll just fix it and keep going.
If you think there's something I should look into or present, send me a note. This is a solo project built with care, and every page reflects how I see things — through data, not opinion.
Support the Work
I build what I'm passionate about. There's no roadmap, no timeline, no milestones to hit — just me, working on this whenever I can. I can't promise when something new will land, but I can promise it'll be honest when it does.
If you appreciate what's here, the best thing you can do is share it and give credit. And if you want to help me carve out more hours for this, you can always support the tribe. Every bit helps me spend less time elsewhere and more time here.
And if this isn't for you — that's completely fine too. No hard feelings.
