Where the Data Comes From

Hodlertribe compiles data from multiple publicly available sources. I do my best to present accurate information, but I cannot guarantee that every figure is correct or up to date.

Bitcoin Price Data

Live and historical Bitcoin prices are sourced from the CoinGecko API. Some historical data points are compiled from publicly available records and may use approximate values, particularly for dates before 2013 when reliable price data was limited.

Bitcoin Network Data

Mining statistics, supply data, and active address counts are sourced from Blockchain.info and other public blockchain explorers. These figures represent on-chain data and may differ slightly between sources.

ETP / ETF Data

Exchange Traded Product listings, AUM figures, management fees, and exchange information are compiled from SEC filings, fund fact sheets, provider websites, and public exchange listings. These figures are approximate estimates and change frequently. I update them periodically but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.

Tax & Regulatory Information

Information about tax-advantaged accounts (ISK, ISA, IRA, TFSA, etc.) is compiled from government publications and publicly available tax guidance. Tax rules vary by jurisdiction and change frequently. The information presented is a simplified overview and should never be used as a substitute for professional tax advice.

Macroeconomic Data

M2 money supply and other macroeconomic figures are sourced from Federal Reserve (FRED), ECB, PBOC, BOJ, and other central bank publications. Values are approximate year-end or period-end figures.

Community Directory

The Tribepeople directory (podcasts, YouTube channels, authors, etc.) is curated by Hodlertribe. Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement. I am not responsible for the content, opinions, or accuracy of any third-party creator or publication listed.

I don't tell you what to buy. I don't tell you when to sell. I don't tell you how to invest. I present the data — you decide what it means to you.
